What does Bromley Well mean by “referrer”?
A referrer is someone such as a professional, relative or friend who contacts Bromley Well on someone else’s (a client’s) behalf, with that person’s permission.

Who provides Bromley Well services?
Bromley Well services are provided by 5 local charities:
Age UK Bromley and Greenwich;
Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich Mind;
Bromley Mencap;
Community Links Bromley;
Citizens Advice Bromley.
Services are provided by a team of trained and vetted staff and volunteers.

Who pays for Bromley Well services?
People using the service do not pay. Services are funded by Bromley Council and the local NHS in Bromley.
As of Jan 2020 the only exceptions are:-
- To use the Handyperson service free of charge you need to be referred by a health or social care professional. If you want to use the service directly yourself, we charge £40 per hour and there may be an additional charge for parts. For further information please contact handy.person@bromleywell.org.uk
- There is also a charge for our Carer Respite Sitting Service, of £17.50 per hour. For further information please contact sittingservice@bromleywell.org.uk
