Carers Support Officer

Hours: 37.5 per week

Information and Advice Manager

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Bromley Well's Information and Advice service is one of our busiest departments - it's often the first contact that our customers have with us. The service offers free, impartial and confidential specialist advice on a wide range of issues to older people, their families and carers.

We're looking to appoint an experienced Manager to run the service. You'll have experience of working in an advice setting, providing quality assured information advice and guidance.  You'll also have experience of supervising both paid and volunteer staff, and have a good understanding of the issues relating to older people.

Care Navigator Co-ordinator

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Bromley Well, working in partnership with St Christopher’s Hospice are looking to appoint a Care Navigator Coordinator. The post will work with St Christopher’s Bromley Care Coordination Services which works to:

  • Enable people over the age of 75 with advanced illness or frailty thought to be in their last year of life to receive timely and co-ordinated care
  • Help people die with dignity in the place of their choice
  • Provide support to their families and carers.

For this role you'll need to have experience of delivering services in the third sector, health or social care for with people with complex needs. You'll need to demonstrate a compassion and empathy for people in a professional manner, have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and experience of building relationships across the sectors.

Sitting Service Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £28,000 per annum

The role will be based between the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRU) and Community House, South Street, Bromley, BR1 1RH.

We're looking for a Coordinator to manage the Sitting Service. The role is predominantly office based but working closely with Princess Royal University Hospital. You will be responsible for the organisation, co-ordination and evaluation of the 24 hour sitting service. Take Home and Settle Assistant

HoursMonday to Friday, 1pm till 5pm, 20 hours

Salary: Retainer of £2,795 and on call shift payment of £10.75 per hour made at London Living wage - full details in information pack.

The post holder will be based at home on call. 

We're looking for caring, reliable, empathetic people to help older people return home after a stay in hospital.  The Take Home & Settle Assistants escort older people home from the Princess Royal University hospital and Orpington Hospital in the Borough of Bromley and settle them in at home reassuring them and offering support with shopping and other tasks where required.  You'll be home based, have your own reliable car, clean UK driving license and knowledge of the borough. The service is provided 7 days a week (no medical support or personal care) and the following shift pattern is available: Monday to Friday, 1pm till 5pm, 20 hours.

Health & Wellbeing Coordination Officer

Hours: 28 per week

Salary: £24,000 pro rata 3 month interim post with possibility of extension

We're looking to appoint an experienced Health and Wellbeing Coordination Officer. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage referrals across Bromley Well Services, in a professional, customer focused and timely manner.  Using your skills to appropriately assess practitioners' enquiries and that client’s needs and circumstances are fully understood before being allocated to the team you will be a key player in the smooth provision of our services.  You'll have an empathy for our clients and have experience of delivering time sensitive services with a customer care focus.

Information & Advice Specialist Advisor

Salary: £25,000 pa

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced professional to work alongside colleagues providing specialist information and advice to older people. The post holder will provide support to older people, their carers, relatives and friends in person, over the phone and in writing.
