Carers Support Advisor 

Hours: 18.75 hours per week

Salary: £12,659 per annum

Location: Primarily based at Community House, Bromley.  They will be required to travel to other parts of the borough andf working from home 

Bromley Well Adult Carers Service supports people who are aged 19+ and care for a relative, friend or neighbour.  We are looking for someone who can provide emotional and practical support to Carers in Borough.

Key work areas and tasks:

  • To provide support face to face, over the phone and in group settings.
  • To develop and run local support groups.
  • To actively target those carers facing multiple issues, most likely to fall into crisis

Bromley Well Administrator

Salary: £15,206 (£22,809 FTE) + 3% Pension

Hours: 25 hours per week. 7hrs to be worked on a Monday, others to be worked flexibly

Contract: Permanent

Location: Central Bromley office base

We are looking for an Administrator to provide excellent administrative and operational support to the Bromley Well Team.  You will work as part of our support team to ensure the smooth running of our services and workshops which are designed to increase independence, reduce isolation and improve the lives of disabled people in the borough.  As Bromley Well Administrator you will be employed by and based at Bromley Mencap but working closely with colleagues across the borough in the wider Bromley Well team.

Sitter (Sitting Service)

Hours: 7am-5pm (day shift) and overnight shifts available.

Salary: Day & Evening Shifts: £10.85 per hour     Night Shifts: £12.45 per hour

Location: The role will be based in clients homes across the Bromley borough

Closing date: 12pm 9th June 2022

Bromley Well are looking for staff to join the Sitting Service. The Service is for older people in Bromley, who have been recently discharged from hospital and identified by the hospital as requiring support and reassurance for a maximum of 24 hours on discharge. The aim of the service is to reduce the number of unnecessary readmissions to hospital, and to help the client regain their independence, by recuperation in their own home.
