BTSE (Bromley Third Sector Enterprise) Voluntary Treasurer

Hours Attending 6 meetings per year and meeting with staff and external auditors as required (all currently held on Zoom)

Responsible to Chair of the Board of Trustees

BTSE is looking for someone with the relevant skills to join our Board of Trustees to support us with financial oversight.  The Treasurer will work closely with the Chair of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer to ensure we are compliant with Charity Commission expectations and reporting.

Employment Advisor

Salary £26,654 plus 3% pension

Full Time 37.5hrs per week

Based at Bromley Well partner charity, Bromley Mencap, central Bromley

Through tailored person centred support, you will assist people with learning disabilities (LD), physical disabilities (PD) and long term health conditions (LTHCs) to address barriers to employment and education by providing advice, guidance and support to improve access to education, employment and volunteering whilst supporting retention of paid employment.  You will also support referrals of people with mental health issues, requiring retention support to an appropriate service.

Head of Employment Services

Salary £36,000 plus 5% pension

Full Time 37.5hrs per week

Based at Bromley Well partner charity, Bromley Mencap, central Bromley.

You will manage, develop and expand the training and employment services for disabled people. You will join the Senior Management Team and have responsibility for achieving quality, person centred outcomes, establishing partnerships and ensuring the service is financially sustainable.

Sitter - Carers Respite

Hours of Work Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

Salary £10.85 per hour (minimum of two hours a shift)

Closing date midnight 21st January 2020

This service provides respite for carers and focuses on providing companionship and practical assistance to those they care for. We support carers to maintain their caring roles, increase carers’ resilience and help to avoid crisis. The service assists with appropriate domestic and daily living tasks such. Staff will be required to remain in the clients home whilst on shift. PPE and PPE related training are provided for sitters, including but not limited to: gloves, masks, aprons and hand sanitizer.

Sitter

Variable Shifts Available 7am-5pm (day shift);  5pm-9pm (evening shift); 9pm-7am (night shift)

Salary day and evening shifts: £10.85 per hour; night shifts: £12.45 per hour.

Closing date midnight 21st January 2020

This service is for older people in Bromley who have been recently discharged from hospital, and identified by the hospital as requiring support and reassurance for a maximum of 24 hours on discharge. The aim is to reduce the number of unnecessary readmissions to hospital, and to help the client regain their independence, by recuperation in their own home.  Sitters will be required to remain in the clients home whilst on shift. This service is CQC regulated and includes provision of personal care. Clients are tested for Covid-19 during hospital admission and the service only accepts negative clients. PPE and PPE related training are provided for sitters, including but not limited to: gloves, masks, aprons and hand sanitizer.
