We're reading the brilliant "The Boy at the Back of the Class" by Onjali Q Raúf.

This is the story about how one ordinary nine-year-old child and three classmates are full of empathy for Ahmet, a boy that comes to their school as a refugee from Syria (he is the boy at the back of the class).

When and how?

 For readers aged between around 8 and 14 years. We send you a (free) copy of the book we're reading and meet up each Wednesday 4.30pm – 5.15pm for a chat on Zoom. Follow us on Instagram for regular updates.

Who can come?

This weekly group is for Young Carers registered with Bromley Well Young Carers Service. If you are or know a young person aged between 4 and 19 years who cares for someone, please let them know about the support we can provide. Details here.
