Help to get one off payment £150

For Council Tax payers in bands A-D

People who pay council tax by direct debit, will see £150 cash go directly into their bank accounts from April 2022.

Those who do not pay by direct debit are encouraged to set this up to benefit from this scheme.

In Bromley, the council is looking at the best ways of paying the £150.00 to all those who are not on Direct Debit and also on how vulnerable clients in Bands E-H are supported.  

Even if you don't pay Council Tax because you receive local council tax support, it is likely you will still be eligible.
