Self Care Week - Activities for Older People in Orpington

If you are, or know an older person looking for some time out, socialising, fun activities and a freshly cooked lunch, get in touch with the Saxon Centre in Orpington.

At the Saxon Day Centre the team provide a day care service for older adults, including those who are physically and mentally frail, have a learning disability, a dementia diagnosis or those who are socially isolated who wish to meet other like minded people.

At the centre they offer a range of different activities throughout the day including exercise groups, discussion groups, dancing, pampering, arts & crafts, quizzes, singalongs, flower arranging, board games , bingo, carpet bowls and many others, or just to have a social chat over a cup of tea.

Lunchtime

They provide a freshly cooked two course lunch consisting of a main course and a desert followed by tea or coffee. Soft drinks are also provided throughout the day. All dietary requirements are catered for.

They have a friendly staff team who are fully qualified within their respective roles. All staff are also DBS checked.

Cost

£45.45 - £66.59 depending on any assistance or support an individual may need while in attendance at the day centre.
