Self Care Week

There is always a friendly welcome and fun to be had at the Memory Box Dementia Cafe.

They provide a meeting place for people with memory loss or dementia and their friends, family and carers. Meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, 2pm – 3.30pm.

Activities include games, music, singing, dancing, reminiscence, friendship and support.

Refreshments are available.

Sessions are free, but a donation box is available.

No booking required

You can self-refer to these sessions and you can just turn up; no booking is necessary. However, you need be accompanied by a carer or friend.

The group also run Move with Memory Box seated exercise classes on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month.

A session to music developed especially for people living with dementia.

Arrive at 2pm for a 2.15pm start until 3pm. Refreshments are available until 4pm. 

You must book these sessions, as numbers are limited.
