Why a Carers Charter?

The number of unpaid carers in Bromley (including young carers) is growing. There is a diverse range of agencies engaging with carers across health, social care and voluntary sectors. The need has been identified to create consistency and to avoid gaps across the range of agencies.

What is a Carers Charter?

It is a statement of principles and provides a definition of unpaid carers/caring role. It sets out commitment to carers and specifies what services Carers can expect. It outlines the common approach to how carers are engaged, supported and consulted

What would you like to see in Bromley Carers Charter?

This is your chance to shape how services across Bromley, Local Authority, NHS and voluntary sector engage and support carers.
