Food and Eating Myths: A Course for Carers

Thursday 19 September 2019
12:30 to 14:30

Who is delivering the course?

Bromley Adult Education College

The course is funded through a Community Learning grant, supported by the Mayor of London and The Education & Skills Funding Agency. To attend this course you must be a resident of London and have lived in the EU or EEA for at least three years prior to the start of the course.

What is the course about?

This course will explore common myths around food, metabolism, fasting and calories. We will also look at one's personal story around food and eating and how this may affect weight, body image and self-esteem.

Please note this is a personal development course, not a nutrition course. You will raise your awareness of inflammatory foods, but the focus is on developing strategies to change perceptions through practical exercises.

The course runs on Thursdays from 12:30pm- 2:30pm from 19 September until the 17 October. There are five sessions in total.

Who is the course for?

Unpaid carers over the age of 19 who either live or care for someone in the London Borough of Bromley. You must be registered with Bromley Well to attend this course and you must book your place.
