Coping with Caring: free CBT course for carers (Beckenham)
Wednesday 13 June 2018
14:30 to 16:30
For carers - a free, 8 week course on coping with caring.
This is part of an 8 week course which started on Wednesday May 30th. Places need to be booked - please contact us to see if you can join after May 30th.
From 2.30pm-4.30pm at Azelia Hall in Beckenham.
Coping with caring is group cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) looking at the stressors of caring for someone. CBT is based on the idea that the way we think and feel affects how we act and behave. This then reinforces our thoughts and feelings which can lead to a negative cycle.
The sessions will aim to break this negative cycle and teach us to break down overwhelming problems into smaller parts so we can deal with them more positively.
Please do get in touch for further information.
