Young Carers Activity Support Volunteer 

New role as of: Spring/Summer 2025

Time Committment: Our activities run throughout the school holidays and can vary in length, ranging from 2 hour sessions to half day events.  

Location: Various within Bromley Borough.

Skills: No prior experience is necessary—just a positive attitude and a willingness to help! Volunteers must be 18+ and will be required to complete a background check.

Description: Join Bromley Well as a volunteer and help young carers—children and teenagers who take on significant responsibilities at home. Their activities and events provide these amazing individuals with much needed time to relax, have fun, and connect with peers who understand their experiences.

The role is based at Bromley Well partner charity Bromley Mencap.  For more information about the Young Carers service, see the Young Carers webpage and the Events listing where you'll find some of the current activities scheduled.
