Take Home and Settle Assistant

Hours: Shift pattern 1 - Monday-Friday 9:00-13:00

Salary: Monday-Friday call outs are £13.85 per hour.  There is a retainer payment of £3,601 per annum.

Location: The role is based with Age UK Bromley and Greenwich and involves travel across Bromley Borough.

Closing Date: Final closing date Midnight on 3rd March 2026, however we reserve the right to close the advert early if a suitable candidate is found.

It is essential to have a driving licence and use of your own car to be considered for this role.

As a Take Home & Settle Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring clients have a safe, comfortable return home from hospital. You’ll take clients home, help them settle in, and provide both practical and emotional support. Your responsibilities include handling essential needs like delivering medication and basic food suppies along with follow-up check-ins when required to support their wellbeing.
